Getting Started

Everything you need to get TradieCEO set up and answering calls, from creating your account to training your AI on how your business actually runs.

Creating your account and choosing a plan

Sign up with your business email and you'll get a 14-day free trial on any plan — no card lock-in and no obligation to continue. You can start on Starter, Pro or CEO and change your mind later; nothing you set up during the trial is lost if you switch plans.

Most tradies start with Starter to get the AI Receptionist and quoting running, then move to Pro or CEO once they want invoice chasing, compliance tracking or cash flow forecasting switched on. You can compare exactly what each plan includes on the Pricing page.

Connecting your business phone number

In Settings → Business, you can connect the number your customers already call. Most businesses forward their existing number to their TradieCEO line, which means nothing changes on the customer's side — they call the same number they always have.

Once connected, calls are answered by your AI Receptionist in real conversation rather than a menu system. You'll see every call logged with a transcript, so you can review exactly what was said.

Syncing your calendar

TradieCEO syncs two-way with Google and Outlook calendars, so jobs booked through your AI Receptionist or quotes land straight on your existing calendar — and anything you block out manually is respected by the AI when it's booking new jobs.

If you've got staff, calendar sync is staff-aware, meaning the AI won't double-book someone who's already got a job on at that time.

Adding your team and setting who covers what

Head to the Staff section to add team members, assign them to job types or service areas, and set their availability. Once added, accepted quotes and inbound calls can be automatically assigned to the right person instead of defaulting to you for every job.

Training the AI on your pricing, area and hours

The more specific you are here, the better the AI performs on real calls. Add your standard services and rough pricing, your service area (including any suburbs you don't travel to or surcharge for), your business hours, and your after-hours policy.

You can update this at any time as your pricing or coverage changes — the AI uses whatever is currently saved, so there's no need to "retrain" it from scratch after an edit.
